I find myself totally incapable of watching re-runs of this footage today. It is simply too traumatic. Perhaps the realization of man's capacity for absolute hatred has taken this long to sink in. May the victims rest in peace.
In a related matter, I've just read Fredric Jameson's review of Zizek's newest book. I've only encountered Zizek's writing through assorted essays, so it might be interesting to dig into a more cohesive work.
